Samford University: Everything School

We take *** lot of pride in being champions and everything for all 17 sports pride is an understatement and homeland Alabama is *** sleeping giant academically and athletically, you know, athletics is all about developing school spirit, right? I want people when they graduate from this place instead of putting *** U *** flag or an *** U flag in their yard. I want to put *** Sanford Bulldog flag in their yard that comes from winning, that comes from pride. Sanford University and everything. School. We want to be broad based. We want to be really good, obviously, football and basketball are your drivers um from *** revenue standpoint, but we want to be broad based and we've been very good in our women's sports programs. Sanford won both the commissioner's cup and the German Cup, the all sports outstanding award for both men's and women's athletics in the. So five of the 11 championships were won on the women's side. Excellence in everything we try to do. This is an institution that's, you know, from an academic standpoint to our Christian mission, everything we try to do, we try to do an excellence. And so that's kind of filtered down to athletics. So what's next for Sanford and athletic director, Martin Newton? I mean, I'm not the smartest guy. I'm *** finance major with *** Stanford degree, but 12 comes after 11. So, you know, I mean, we talked about it as *** staff.
