Search efforts continue after authorities said an Albertville man went missing in Lake Guntersville on Friday, July 7.According to Sergeant Jeremy Burkett with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, 65-year-old Jeffrey S. Abston exited a pontoon boat around 8 p.m. in the South Sauty area near Robert Davis Road to help rescue a dog but never resurfaced.Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's Marine Patrol Division responded and are currently working with local agencies in the search and recovery effort. Troopers with ALEA's Marine Patrol Division will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates accordingly.
