Selma man killed in multi-vehicle crash
A multi-vehicle crash has claimed the life of a Selma man.It happened around 6:30 p.m. Monday, near the 13-mile marker of Alabama 22 in Dallas County.Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division say that 22-year-old Robert Thompson rear-ended a trailer that was being towed by Cletus E. Verhoff, 69, of Orrville.After the initial crash, Thompson's vehicle collided head-on with that of Errol T. Boglin, 58, of Valley Grande; Thompson was pronounced dead at the scene.ALEA is currently investigating the events leading up to the crash.
