Teen charged in alleged robbery during sale set up on social media in Hoover
A 17-year-old has been charged with robbery following an investigation into a sales setup on social media.The Hoover Police Department reported a person arrived in the city July 2 to sell property to someone they met on social media.The seller was robbed by the person he was selling to, said the police department.Police officers developed a suspect, and on July 6, that person surrendered to detectives.A possible second suspect in the robbery has yet to be identified, said the HPD.The police department was withholding the name of the suspect unless ruled as an adult.
