Woman shot, killed in Norwood community pregnant at time of death
SO, AGAIN, THAT IS IN THAT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED. WELL, THE DAY BEFORE, ANOTHER BIRMINGHAM MOTHER WAS KILLED, POLICE SAY 21 YEAR OLD ANIYA NORDIN IS ACCUSED OF SHOOTING 36 YEAR OLD MOTHER JESTINA WALLACE IN FRONT OF HER CHILDREN. POLICE TELL US THAT BOTH WOMEN HAVE A CHILD WITH THE SAME MAN. INVESTIGATORS BELIEVE THE TWO WERE ARGUING WHEN WALLACE WAS SHOT. SHE DIED AT A NEARBY HOSPITAL. The woman who was shot Friday in the Norwood community and died one day later was pregnant at the time of her death, according to the coroner.Police were called just before 7 p.m. Friday at an apartment complex in the 3200 block of 17th Avenue North.When they arrived, they found Justina Zenola Wallace, 36, unresponsive with a gunshot wound lying on the ground. The woman who was shot Friday in the Norwood community and died one day later was pregnant at the time of her death, according to the coroner.
